Soft Gel Adhesive, 15 ml

IBD Softgel Glue is a specially formulated bonding agent designed for seamless application of IBD Softgel Tips. This glue is a gel-like substance that hardens under a UV or LED lamp and creates a strong, flexible bond between the natural nail and the Softgel Tip.

Application:

Preparation for Building Gel Application: 1. Gently push back the proximal nail fold using a cuticle pusher. 2. Remove exposed cuticles from the nail plate. 3. Remove shine from the natural nail plate using a 180 grit emerald file. 4. Remove all filing dust from the nail plate using a dry Nail Wipe. 5. Apply Dehydrate to clean the nail plate. Sculpted Nail Application: 1. Apply ibd Powerbond to the nail plate. Avoid contact with surrounding skin. 2. Apply ibd Sculpts. 3. Using Building Gel, sculpt a thin extension over 1/3 of the nail plate to the desired free edge length. Flash cure 10 seconds. 4. Apply a thin layer of Building Gel to the entire nail surface, DO NOT CURE. Thread a bead in the center of the nail and allow to cure. Flash cure for 10 seconds, repeat if necessary to build up proper structure and apex. 5. Repeat step 4 on all remaining nails and cure for 30 seconds when using an LED lamp or 1 minute when using a UV lamp. 6. Remove nail forms and inhibition layer from nails using Cleanser Plus and a Nail Wipe. 7. File and shape nails using a 180 grit emerald file. Remove all dust with a clean, dry nail wipe. 8. Coat nails with Building Gel Top Coat and cure for 30 seconds in an LED lamp or 2 minutes in a UV lamp. 9. Cleanse with Cleanser Plus and moisturize skin with ibd Lavender Cuticle Oil. *For natural nail overlays, follow steps above except steps 2 and 3.
